WordPress foundation

IMWA requires WordPress 6.6 or newer, PHP 8.2 or newer, HTTPS, and the Sodium extension for signed licenses. It is designed for standard single sites and multisite-aware configuration.

Mobile paths

Modern iPhone and Android browsers receive the web experience and the best available installation path. Foreground location uses permissioned browser geolocation. NFC URL tags, iPhone Shortcuts, native bridges, and edge gateways extend the capability map without changing the WordPress interface.

Integrations

IMWA can project WooCommerce events and BuddyPress notifications while those plugins remain the owners of their canonical orders, inventory, members, messages, and unread state.
